25.01.2022 After the 4 days of the South Australian State Carnival our Broken Hill shooters have again ended up with some State Titles in very trying conditions with high winds and rain for most of the 4 days. A big congratulations must go to Shannen Gallagher being awarded the Junior Scholarship Award, well deserved Shannen. Wayne Reed and Jared Nicholls both ended up with 1 State Tittle each and Jared making the 5 man SA team as well. And Darryn Nicholls taking a number of Tittles as usual. Winning results for our BHGC shooters are: Jared Nicholls 1st AA grade 50T DB. Wayne Reed 1st A grade 50T DB. Darryn Nicholls 1st AA Champ of Champs. 1st AA double rise.1st Overall 50T point score.AA grade high gun and 1st in the postal shoot. A reminder our monthly shoot in also on this Saturday, see you all there.

25.01.2022 Welcome to the new year members and friends. Tomorrow is our first shoot of the year with another good mixed program, I know there is a few that can't make it due to work commitments but we have plenty of members in our club so good luck and let's start off the new year with a BANG.

24.01.2022 A big congratulations to our latest life member Chris Lawrie. This man puts in so much of his own time to the Broken Hill Gun Club , so much more than a lot realise. He is the first there and the last to leave every Wednesday and monthly shoot, a true club man that is very much appreciated by all of our members. Well done Chris.

23.01.2022 Another great weekend of quality shooting at our club. Congratulations Ross on the high gun , he could only just see them clays. Our club has 3 squads of shooters heading to Port Augusta this weekend and we are looking forward to see if we can bring home all the High Guns as we did at Port Pirie .Good luck to our Broken Hill Gun Club members and enjoy the weekend Members.

23.01.2022 Good luck to all our BHGC members travelling to the state carnival starting on Thursday, im sure we will be very competitive as usual. I think we have roughly 10 of our members travelling there.I believe we had a few of our shooters travel to Mildura last weekend with Ross Walsh pulling out a master class, im not sure how the others went as I haven't been able to find out. The publicity officer would love to hear from travelling shooters and how they went in there travels. Good luck again to our members at the State Carnival.

18.01.2022 Our Xmas shoot will be held next Saturday ,the 5th of December . It is always a good day of shooting and fun and always a good turnout of members and visitors. Another of our regular touring shooters i have heard has won the high gun and a number of events this weekend in Pooncarie, well done Ricky Jones , doing our club proud again.

13.01.2022 Well this strange year has ended with our XMAS shoot on Saturday, harsh conditions with rain, dust and high winds made for an interesting day, with some of our shooters away numbers were just a bit down but a good fun day was had by all with a very interesting novelty event to finish off, see you all next year for our first event on the 9th January, merry Xmas to everyone.

05.01.2022 After the first 2 days of the South Australian State Carnival our Broken Hill Gun Club members have been reasonably quiet with the usual exception, Darryn Nicholls has won AA grade in the Champion of Champions yesterday and won AA grade today in the Double Rise. Tomorrow is the single and double barrel events , let's see how our members go tomorrow with these events that our shooters have always done well at. Good luck tomorrow guys and gal's.

01.01.2022 What a great 3 days at the Port Augusta Gun Club with a great turn out of shooters from all over the state, our BHGC members put in a great effort with 3 squads of shooters and taking out a lot of wins,2nds and high guns.Thank you Port Augusta Gun Club for a great weekend again.
