17.01.2022 We broke the paddock in to 2 in one half we have 2 week old plants that were directly seeded into the ground and in the other half we have 1 week old plants that were directly seeded both are doing well

15.01.2022 Well it’s finally raining

14.01.2022 Pollination is one of the most important elements of growing a crop. We use Native Bee's or Sugar Bag Bee's........They don't have a sting and are quite a bit smaller than a European Bee but, they are our Bee of choice. During periods of no crop production we plant things like Lavender and Corn to keep them feed and happy. They do make honey but you can only harvest about 1kg a year from each hive. They are very fascinating little insects.

01.01.2022 Well it’s been a disappointing 2019 with being flooded in February and Drought through the rest of the year. Water restrictions preventing a Squetti crop this year but have planted down a Rhodes crop as it uses less water. Finally we have just bailed of our first return hopefully thing will look up going forward
