07.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS UPDATE Our biggest update is that there’s nothing to update, we are still open 6 days/week. We would like to take a moment to thank the community for their efforts in supporting local during these troubling times. Bread sales have nearly doubled and we are stocking to meet demand. Our team is working around the clock to supply both stores and we are fortified in gratitude for the patience and understanding we have received. ... As many of you are aware the government has increased its efforts to reduce the spread of COVID19, in doing so is reducing the hours or closing some businesses. As a bakery we are classed as an essential service and we will be maintaining our usual operating hours. There is no anticipated shortage of supplies and we are being kept well informed by our wholesalers. In Combatting this pandemic we have found two things most effective; positivity and community, while the panic around the virus came in a sudden surge the unity across our region has been insurmountable; we feel blessed by the support and gratitude we have received for our efforts. The message of supporting local businesses in these tumultuous times has been heard loud and clear, you will be hard pressed to find an essential service not under the pump and giving it their all. In the past few weeks we have seen the anxiety within the community but I have also seen the unwavering determination of all of the workers deemed essential to provide compassion and assistance wherever possible; to all Essential workers especially my own steadfast team, Australia applauds you. With this compassion in mind we are doing everything we can to stem the spread of this virus as individuals and essential workers; Extra precautions have been taken across all of our procedures in front and back of house. Sanitisation is being kept of the utmost priority, as well as enforcing social distancing regulations; this has meant limiting patronage to two customers in the premises at one time. While our full menu is still available both of our locations have ceased dine in eating & dine in coffee service. At this time we believe it would be unfair to our demographic to expect all transaction be made via eftpos & are still accepting cash due to this- we are highly encouraging contactless digital payments wherever possible. We hope to provide a sense of continuity with our hours of operation remaining the same 5am- 5pm Monday Friday . 5am -1pm Saturdays. Our Message to our Customers, We feel your frustration, worry and concern & thank you for your patience in these times, we are here for you, for your daily bread or simply the smiles. Thankyou.
