25.01.2022 Before you buy or lease in The Canterbury Apartments ensure you identify the exact car park lot your going to purchase or lease and make sure your car fits in the space. A lot of the car parks are simply too small to fit a vehicle or if your neighboring car park is occupied you will not be able to open your car door.
25.01.2022 Outraged owner glues notice to locked noticeboard in disgust at levies and committe management. The notice was torn down by committee.

23.01.2022 A request was made by the owner of an apartment on the top floor of the building for a fan to be turned off above their unit. The request was made after the tenant complained about the noise. The request was not acted on by the committee of management and the tenant moved out. The owner lost 3 weeks rent and a very good tenant. It was only after the owner engaged stonnington council to inspect the fan based on health reasons did the committee do anything about it. The fan has... now been turned off 2 months & 10 days after a simple request to turn the fan off was made to the committee of management. Stonnington council have issued the committee of management an order to have the fan fixed immediately. Meanwhile the committee continue to ensure their own interests are served impeccably. How long can this illegal committee continue the waste and mismanagement is the question that needs to be answered. See more

22.01.2022 Stonnington Council needed to be called to assess air quality as committee of management refused to turn on air conditoner in ground floor common areas during recent heatwave. Stonnington Council issued a notice to building management.
21.01.2022 Committee installs air conditioning on top floor of building. Runs 24/7. Air Conditioning in foyer that benefits ground, 1st and 2nd floors is never turned on and control is hidden. Have a guess where committee owns apartments?.
21.01.2022 Air conditioning that is controlled by committee of management was not turned on, on xmas day despite intense heat and ample weather warning. Elderly residents should not be subjected to such conditions by the absentee lot owners on the committee of management who control the air condit ioning of all common areas.
17.01.2022 What is it with some people. The harassment by some members of the committee just continues. They must lead incredibly boring lives. Please see this notice placed within a locked noticeboard. Feedback from residents is that certain members of the committee are the only persons partaking in harassment.

16.01.2022 Owners Corporation Committee choose to hide control for air conditioning in ground floor common areas. Turned on once this summer for 3 hours. No wonder the building is like a sweat box and stuffy. Meanwhile top floor air conditioning runs 24/7. Who owns units on the top floor?.
15.01.2022 Please ensure you thoroughly analyze all owners corporation expenditure that is yet to be repaid before you enter into a contract of sale to purchase an apartment in the Canterbury. Better to be safe than sorry!.

14.01.2022 The building has heating in the foyer. The present committee of management will not allow the heater to be turned on because it costs too much to run apparently!. Meanwhile they install 28 + lights outside the building to light up the verandah when in the past 4 lights were sufficient. Perhaps they are trying to ensure the shops are visible of an evening. Dont worry about the residents who go cold. Oh, thats right 4 of the 5 committee members do not live in the building.
14.01.2022 Tile cleaning taking place early Sunday morning. No regard for residents. Typical of this poorly managed building.
13.01.2022 35 + degree heat all day. Split system that cools foyer and stairwells not allowed to be used by order of selfish committee of management who have confiscated remote. Pretty obvious majority of committee do not live in building.
12.01.2022 Shocked by the amount of money that is wasted. Over $600.00 dollars just spent on a rusty old table for the foyer by the committee of management. Nobody seems to know what happened to the perfectly good table that the new rust bucket replaced. If you are buying into this building a close examination of expenditure will leave a host of unanswered questions.

08.01.2022 Air Conditioning 44c Friday 20/12 Residents treated appallingly 1. Air conditioning in foyer turned on only briefly 2. Blowing hot air when on... 3. Hot, stuffy and disgraceful NOTE * Air conditioning on level 3 on 24/7 most days. Where is the respect for residents?
07.01.2022 Red lights have now been installed at main entry. Make up your own mind but the previous blue was probably better. Who knows why they cannot be normal.

03.01.2022 Please send private message to receive a comprehensive report on the waste and behaviour of certain committee members towards residents and lot owners. Sadly certain members of the committee spend friday evenings loitering at the front of the building. Surely they have more interesting things and friends they could spend Friday evenings with.
03.01.2022 Heating has now been activated. If your hydronic heating is not working correctly please inform your landlord or make contact with the building manager. Hydronic heating is a good source of warmth during the colder months and levels 1, 2 & 3 apartments all have this system installed.
