25.01.2022 To write off, or not to write off? That is the question... The ATO has increased the instant asset write off to $150k until 30 June 2020. This means you can write off large purchases like car's, computer and equipment within this financial year. By write off we mean you are able to expense the asset at the time of purchase. This is opposed to putting the asset on your balance sheet and having it depreciate over time. ... 04.01.2022 The Fair Work Commission has released their annual minimum wage increase. A 1.75% increase will apply to all awards but this year its being rolled out differently. Increases will start on 3 different dates for different groups of awards. Front line and essential workers will increase from 1 July 2020.
