24.01.2022 A big day for Charlton this Sunday as the 'Outside Standing In' photo project happens. Be prepared between 10am and 12pm to have your photo taken for a compilation of the towns residents pictures. Be creative with how you would like to be seen; maybe with golf clubs, footy gear or a bottle of wine. Hope you can be part of it.
23.01.2022 Our committee has tonight decided that in response to the Coronavirus, The Charlton Club will not be open for the next 2 Friday nights. This will be assessed again after that date. This decision has not been made lightly but for the safety of our members and the public we feel this is the best decision to make.
21.01.2022 We are hoping that everyone who follows our club page is doing well. If you find you need a bit of assistance with something during this difficult time, don't hesitate to call out to one of the club committee, or other services around the town. Keep well. This will come to an end.
20.01.2022 Some members have been asking when do they have to pay their annual fees for this current 2020/21 year by. With the situation that the Club was sadly closed for all these past months, the Committee is pleased to announce a waiver for the remainder of this period. We are back in business Friday nights with our popular meat raffle and Members draw. Do your bit to support the Club if you can, and drop in for a drink, game of pool and a bit of friendship. See you there from 5:30pm Fridays.
15.01.2022 Friday is club night. Pop in prior to Girls Night Out for a drink to kick off the night. As usual the raffles and members draw happen around 7pm. We still have a couple of places left for marquees on Cup Day this Sunday. Cost just $10pp which includes mystery bets! 14.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone that due to Government directives, the Charlton Club will be closed until further notice. We wish everyone best wishes. Keep safe and care for one another. Hopefully these sacrifices by our community and all Australia will limit the tragedy of this virus.
14.01.2022 Hello everyone. Just touching base to inform you that after a Committee meeting last night, the decision has been made to continue to close the club Friday nights. This regrettable decision will be reviewed as COVID-19 restrictions ease in the future. Keep well everyone, and contact any of the committee if you need any assistance.
12.01.2022 The members draw is up to $40 this Friday night after failing to go off. We are also taking names of members and friends who wish to join our marquees at the harness racing on March 15. 08.01.2022 With the closure for at least the next 2 Friday nights, we ask all members to support The Charlton Butcher with a couple of purchases if possible. With the current crisis it may be a difficult road ahead for a lot of small businesses. As always, where you can support a local business.
