23.01.2022 Parvovirus Across the state, there have been 270 reported cases of the dangerous canine intestinal bug last year. Parvovirus is spread by an infected dogs vomit or faeces, which contains the virus spores that can remain alive in soil for up to six months. The first sign is lethargy, followed by vomiting and diarrhoea, some symptoms can remain undetected. ... Please vaccinate your dog or if they are a puppy please avoid taking them outside for a while if you hear that parvo is going around. Stay safe furbabies

23.01.2022 Anzac Day is a time to remember all of the brave servicemen and women, who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. It is also a time to commemorate the countless animals, who bravely supported our soldiers. These horses, dogs, pigeons, donkeys, cats and many others stood by our soldiers during some of the darkest days of our nations history. These animals have given so much. Not just on the battlefield but also as comfort and support for our soldiers at their most difficul...t times. Lest we forget #anzac #anzacanimals #lestweforget #wewillrememberthem

18.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFO FOR PEOPLE IN NSW A new law now actively encourages people to desex their cats. From 1 July 2020, you have two months grace to desex your cat or apply for an $80 annual permit to keep an undesexed cat.... Every cat over 4 months old will need to be desexed or otherwise be covered by a permit to keep an undesexed cat. There are certain exemptions available. For example, if a cat is currently too sick to be desexed yet, or too old & frail to be desexed, a vet can certify that is the case. Those who currently have an undesexed cat, or people who adopt a new undesexed cat, have two months grace to desex their cat or otherwise apply for a permit. Once a cat is desexed you dont need to pay to have an annual permit. MICROCHIPPING AND REGISTERING YOUR CAT Make sure your cat is microchipped and registered with your local council as well. It does not cost much to do this and there is a one-off lifetime registration fee which costs much less if your cat is desexed. Concessions for the one-off lifetime registration fee are also available. Just ask at your local council. Too many kittens are being born that end up homeless on the street, let's try & prevent this from happening & ensuring these furbabies have a loving & safe home

08.01.2022 Most of my client's have worried about Separation Anxiety in their pet's during COVID-19 and have found comfort in knowing that someone can be there with them to break up those long working days or even wanting a break from work to go away. Having a Pet Sitter not only is beneficial but rewarding, ensuring your precious one is looked after & accompanied brings great comfort and ease to owner's. Dont be shy, ask away, i can definitely help.
