12.01.2022 Today's update has confirmed that physiotherapy businesses "can continue working and are encouraged to do so". . . The Children's Therapy Hub is open for physiotherapy consultations. I am providing teletherapy sessions as well as home visits for existing and new clients. I am taking measures to minimise the risk of transmiting any bugs between clients by putting on a fresh set of scrubs, gloves and socks for each home visit. .... . For any mums with young babies, toddlers or children, a home visit may be the best way to maintain social distancing and avoid busy hospital outpatient clinics. . . In chatting with some of my clients parents today, they were so relieved to hear that face to face physio is still an option for their children. Amisdst this huge health crisis we are facing, the goals parents have for their children's physical development are the same today as they were 3 months ago. If your child has an NDIS plan, we are best to keep working at the same pace that we were, even if services look a little different via telehealth. It is still better than no service at all! I will do my best to continue to provide quality services to all my clients with as little risk as possible. See more

02.01.2022 Here we are all set up for teletherapy! Call now to book your appointment for children’s physiotherapy. . NDIS fully supports the use of funding for teletherapy and Medicare are bringing in new item numbers for allied health ASAP. So hopefully rebates will soon be available through Medicare and private health funds too. . I look forward to continuing to support your child through this time.
