Following this, there will guided tours of our TAFE SWSi Aboriginal Learning Centre of Excellence and everyone is welcome to participate in various cultural workshops throughout the day. 07.01.2022 Please use the full name of the Church when completing the census online in August. The Australian government is releasing the 2016 census in August this year. ...In order to most accurately reflect membership numbers on official government records, I would suggest the following. It is likely that the Church will not be one of the 8-10 religions listed, so those filling out the question regarding a person’s religion would need to select other and then write in the associated boxes the name of their religion. In speaking with the Bureau of Statistics, I have requested that the full name of the Church be recognised when collating the data. They have agreed that if a person writes either the correct and full name of the Church or one of the following derivitives, it will be scored against the Church total: Our preference: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Other acceptable derivatives: The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS Latter Day Saints Mormon LDS The Census records will collate and group these under the Church.
