14.01.2022 Cavities Severe cavities One in four adults has an untreated cavity, and according to the CDC, nearly every adult will have tooth decay at some point. You might have a cavity if you experience pain, food gets caught in your tooth, your tooth feels rough to your tongue or it hurts to eat something cold or sweet. Depending on their severity, cavities can be treated with fillings, crowns or root canals. If the damage is too extensive or involves nerve damage, the tooth may need... to be removed. To reduce your chance of developing cavities, brush twice a day, floss once a day, drink water with fluoride, use a fluoride toothpaste, stay away from sugary food and drinks and see your dentist regularly. Please call us if you have any sensitivity or discomfort on 92640222 See more

02.01.2022 Hi Folks, Gums, or Gingiva are a very sensitive organ... There used to be a saying as people got older that they were long in tooth....Well this picture can explain, over brushing, smoking, and health problems can destroy the Gingiva and it retreats leaving dentine exposed which is extremely sensitive. Correct brushing and gum massage can be very important in retarding this problem. HAPPY BRUSHING

02.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We at The City Dentist felt that we should share this very unpleasant experience and to reassure and dispel any unanswered questions. Which in this case could have been dispelled very quickly. After a somewhat upsetting day, it came to our attention that some people in the building where we are located were questioning and discussing the COVID status of our practice, just your usual gossip and third hand informationmisinformed and potentially devastating to a ...business and the extreme knock on effect just goes on...not only for us, our patients and their families, but a whole building of people with lives and livelihoods to worry about. WE CAN THOROUGHLY ASSURE EVERYONE, our practice follows STRICT INFECTION CONTROL GUIDELINES SET OUT BY THE AUSTRALIAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION AND NSW HEALTH. We question, take temperatures and ENSURE THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE. In fact you are safer in our premises than just about anywhere in the world at this time. I ask all to be mindful and be level headed, sometimes a sneeze is just a sneeze..... and unhelpful gossip and misinformed information should be treated as such, a mischief making exercise that can potentially damage another. its always sensible to get FIRST hand information FIRST Thank you all and may you all be safe, healthy and Happy. And our intentions are to keep you all that way See more
