23.01.2022 morning you lovely people. As you know there has been changes and tighter restrictions introduced because of the rise in covid cases. This means if you have a booking in with us unless you are from the same household it will have to be cancelled. I am really sorry but we have to play by the rules as the last thing we want is to be shut down by the enforcement officers who are doing their rounds. They have already been in here. 22.01.2022 hi everyone. we have made the decision not to open on 4th july but to wait until monday 6th. reason being we feel it will be safer and it gives myself and staff time to familiarize ourselves with the changes at a more settled pace. would like to thank you all for your support over the years and look forward to seeing you soon. xxx... p.s as I get more info I will post on here. 20.01.2022 just to say its lovely to see everyone after such a long time. As the weekend is approaching I would recommend you book a table if your heading out. Obviously once we have the maximum capacity we cannot let more people through the door and It would be awful to have to ask you to queue. thank you for your ongoing support can I just remind you as well to check in with the pubtrace so NHS can trace people if there was a cover case... thank you See more

18.01.2022 would like to say a massive thank you to all our lovely customers. especially the ones that are following the rules. the rules are set out to protect everyone in this surreal time. to those that think it is normal times can i please just say if you flout the one way system you are risking the pub being closed down. all it takes is a visit from environmental health. your ok if this happens you can find another pub to drink in our staff cant just walk to another job. so PLEASE follow the one way system. keep everyone safe including yourself

16.01.2022 hi everyone just an update as u know we are waiting until monday to open. the opening hours for the 1st couple weeks will be mon to wed 3 till 10pm... thurs 3till 11pm friday 2 till 11pm sat 12 till 11pm sun 12 till 10pm. there will be a few things in place to help keep customers and staff safe while visiting the pub. 12.01.2022 well had a fab 2nd week. just a reminder to people to book a table if u can. on entry you need to record your visit with the app. I know its a hassle but its in your own interest. if someone contracted covid the NHS would be able to contact you direct. if booking a table in beer garden please be aware that you must vacate by 10pm. this is to control noise for surrounding neighbours. thank you in advance to book a table telephone 4870770/07855070662

11.01.2022 hi prior to the reopening on Monday 6th July would just like to update our customers on some guidelines issued by government 1. there will be a one way system operating. front door entry and exit through beer garden. 2. on entry there will be a sanitising table. a member of staff will lead you to table and take your order. there will be an app to order and pay. details to follow... 3. no congregating allowed at bar. 4. no more than 6 people in company and 1 person nominated to order drinks. 5. Tables are not to be moved and social distance respected at all times. 6. there will be a 1 In 1 out system in toilets and staff will be checking toilets every 15 minutes. 7. you can book a table for your visit. inside or in beer garden. remember though because of limited inside space if you are outside and weather changes you won't be allowed to take shelter inside unless available tables. Lastly I would like to point out that this is a new way of operating for staff as well as customers so please work with us to overcome any teething problems. dogs are allowed but to be kept on lead at all times. children to be supervised and escorted to toilet. sorry for long post. hope I haven't overlooked anything and look forward to seeing all you lovely people.

08.01.2022 following announcement last night we would like to remind you of the rules in place. on entry your temperature will be taken. you will be seated at your reserved table. please can you refrain from socialising with any person at another table. it is table service only you will be booked in on track and trace system.... please also follow our one way system last orders is 9.15pm time will be 9.30 and we ask that everyone is ready to leave by 9.50. our doors are to be locked by 10pm from Thursday 24th everyone is asked to wear a mask until they are seated at their table then they can be removed. when going to toilet or outside can you please wear mask. staff will also be wearing masks I know it is an uneasy time for you all but please remember it is hard for us staff too. please be patient. a big thank you for your continued support

02.01.2022 hi people right I think I have this correct...here goes you can only come to pub now with members of your own household or someone who is in your bubble. you are allowed to sit inside. you are allowed a group of 6 but only from 2 households. you can only sit outside. you cannot come and have a pint with a friend.... when booking a table you will be asked the question "are you from same household". you also now have to fill in a contact form with all your details. I know it is hard to understand and people will be frustrated but us staff are finding it hard as well. would like to thank you all for your support in these difficult times. hoping we won't go into another lockfown hope to see you soon. take care and look after each other. any questions feel free to ask and if I will do my best to answer xxxx See more
