19.01.2022 Good Morning Patchers... Great news. Our current lockdown ends at 6pm tonight. Due to the reintroduction of slightly reduced seating and the importance of digital sign in, updated covid plans, we will stick to our advertised return from holidays on TUESDAY 19TH JANUARY. 19.01.2022 Hellooooo... I'm back from 4 days camping. In true Angie style it rained every day but the water is much needed and the sound of the running creek was absolute bliss. Over the next few weeks I am working on a new 2021 menu, catering menus and a few other surprises... PLEASE let us know what you love, what you want to stay, what you would like to see on our menu. 12.01.2022 As we close our cafe doors for the last time in 2020 I want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for giving us a chance, for coming back, for loving our patchiness and my craziness. Thank you for supporting our changes and being tempted by our daily specials. Demand for our coffee has meant we need a bigger machine in 2021. Now a shout out to my staff... none of my success would be possible without them. We are a team. Mum...my rock, my investor, my supporter and the best friend ...a girl could ever have. Nicole (aka Crafty Gardener and my little sis).. you have worked tirelessly with me and for me to get our 'not so little patch ' up and running and now your little business is blooming. Chef Vicky... one of the best decisions...you give your heart, soul, talents, palette and support to everything I try to achieve. You are such a big part of my business. Barista Kylie.. Our front of house conductor.. Kylie makes it all come together and really does make coffee that gives you a 'moment'. All rounder Chloe...our pocket rocket. Making coffee, 5am starts to do kitchen prep, front of house, clearing tables, potato salad eating machine. I just love your energy and commitment. Karen.. kitchen assistant/ underwater porcelain technician.. you just put your head down and work so hard. You were meant to join our crazy team Jasmin... kitchen assistant.. you just bring that beautiful energy into the cafe and do anything we need. Joseph... cafe junior (And my big boy).. 11.01.2022 To our beautiful Patch Family. Through the trials and tribulations of 2020, you all stood with us. You provided so much support to me and my amazing team. 2021... what can I say. The team at The Patch have some exciting things planned for the year... more delicious food, more amazing coffee, opportunities to form connections and friendships. I cannot wait to bring you all more of our 'patchiness' that you love. My wish for you all is to be surrounded by love, laughter, health, happiness and success in all that you set your mind to. Tonight we had the pleasure of providing a Christmas feast for the very amazing team at Heartfelt Funerals. I LOVE THAT I GET TO DO THIS FOR MY JOB..

05.01.2022 To all our customers. Due to recent directives from the QLD Government, we will NOT be open on Monday for your coffee fix. Please stay home and take this opportunity to recharge. I know that I will continue to work on our new menu, business plan and goals. Might sneak in a pink Gin but I will use this downtime gratefully and hope, that by everyone doing the right thing, we will be back open in a few days.. Take care every one.

02.01.2022 As we head off camping for a few days, I have to agree with this. I'm totally lost.
