13.01.2022 POSITION VACANT - Bar / Function Staff The Commercial Sporting and Recreation Club is as Not for Profit organisation with over 300 members and social groups using our amenities. Our club has pool, snooker and dart competition teams who access our facilities. We also have weekly bowls and bingo along with catering for various functions. We are looking to employ a friendly and enthusiastic Bar/Function staff member to work on a casual basis. ... You will be proactive and have experience in the day to day running of bar and function organisation. You must hold previous experience in bar management and demonstrate skills in time management as you will be required to work on your own when required. Qualifications / Requirements Demonstrated experience as a Bar or Duty Manager Basic bar and function management skills Strong people management skills Hold a current RSA and Approved Managers Card Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends A can do attitude Catering experience (desired but not essential) Role includes Ability to work independently as well as with a small team Management and training of staff Ordering Stock takes Cash handling and reconciliation Oversee functions Venue presentation Reporting to the Bar Manager and Management Committee Please contact Willie on 0427 701 479

07.01.2022 The staff and committee miss our club and members. We hope you are all keeping well. Hopefully soon we will be able to open our doors when the restrictions lift enough to allow service in a safe environment. In the meantime, Willie and Vicky are working through the COVID-19 course requirements to keep our members safe when we can open the club. Look forward to seeing you all when the club reopens!
