FUNDING AVAILABLE Victorian clubs and community sporting organisations delivering sport and active recreation can apply for $1,000 in Government assistance (Associations please refer to a separate communication). Financial support will be provided to assist the organisation remain operational during the eligibility period, and to support readiness to return-to-play in adherence with Victorian Chief Health Officer restrictions and advice. For more information, see: https://sport.vic.gov.au/our-work/return-to-play WHAT CAN BE APPLIED FOR? Eligible expenses are those that have been paid, are unavoidable during the eligibility period (1 March to 31 August 2020) and are essential to maintain operational viability. I will be organising a delegates meeting for the 3rd/4th week of July when we have the all clear from the appropriate authorities in July where we can interact with each other. 24.01.2022 Folks, Changes effecting all T20 Grade fixtures have been made and updated on MyCricket this morning, after the withdrawal of a Kookaburra Shield team necessita...ted alterations to each T20 Grade. Please ensure any appointments for next Tuesday night (24/11) are reviewed and if required, updated with the new fixtures taken into consideration. I will also update the rules reflecting the removal of the bottom T20 Grade, which became necessary after 4 teams became 3 and then resulted in the rework of the Grade above (which also had 4 teams) to now include 7 teams & a Bye round.

03.01.2022 CV have presented to more than 1000 people on Webinars this week and a lot of BHRDCA clubs and people attended. The situation continues to evolve and change dai...ly and Sunday will see further announcements. That will lead to more discussions next week where CV will ensure we are best placed to commence the season. There are a number of guidelines around return to play where the initial Government advice did not make sense to cricket people. No spectators and no equipment sharing (especially for juniors) are good examples. CV are addressing these issues and seeking clarification. Regional cricket is due to commence competition in mid October so we will have real data to help us start our season. The next few weeks will provide greater clarity towards our goal of starting the season on November 14. We ask all to hang in there, we are getting close to training and playing. Stay safe. BHRDCA CoM
