25.01.2022 With views like this it is understandable that we are being asked for weddings to be held here and this Saturday we have one here. So the Cafe will be closed all of Saturday as we celebrate a special event. Thanks everyone for your understanding.

21.01.2022 It was lovely to hear from Brian and Jane about their wonderful wedding Reception at The Cormorant - Cafe on the Pier a week ago............We are so stoked that you all had such a lovely time and once again congratulations and best wishes with your life together.

20.01.2022 To our dear customers. Sadly The Cormorant shut at the end of March and I just wanted to let you know what is happening. At this stage we do not intend to open it like before and we have not set a date for reopening. Our priority will be to recover the Tourism experience gradually if possible as restrictions are reduced. It may be that we start it more as a coffee shop in the initial stages. We are so very thankful for the wonderful support of the Tasmanian community in the past and look forward to seeing you again sometime down the track.

20.01.2022 It is lovely to be able to report that Sunday roast and cooked lunches are available at The Cormorant from this weekend. We've decided it is time to fire up the ovens again: Fridays - Sunday, 10am - 3pm. Coffee's and light lunches are also available 7 days. Hope to see you along some time! #Tamarvalley

16.01.2022 Today, sadly, we have to close the doors of the Cormorant Café. We will be back bigger and stronger than before once this awful virus has gone. In the meantime, should you want your Anvers Chocolate fix we have them available through the Seahorse World Gift Shop. Don't forget to grab your Anvers Easter Eggs before they're all gone!

The Cormorant - Cafe on the Pier has the most stunning views & the mini tour of the Seahorse tanks was not only visually amazing, it was also extremely informative & kept the group enthralled. What a fabulous location for visitors to the Tamar Valley, with the added bonus of Anvers Chocolate shop now. See more
