25.01.2022 It is lovely to be able to report that Sunday roast and cooked lunches are available at The Cormorant from this weekend. Weve decided it is time to fire up the ovens again: Fridays - Sunday, 10am - 3pm. Coffees and light lunches are also available 7 days. Hope to see you along some time! #Tamarvalley

25.01.2022 Due to an array of unforeseen circumstances impacting our staff, including sickness, we need to advise that todays menu will be limited to our wraps and sandwiches. Our capacity will also be much reduced. We are sorry to our customers for this but we expect to be back to full steam tomorrow.

19.01.2022 It has been long in the planning but on Thursday 14th November we are introducing our High Tea for two. Delicious treats served on a purpose designed 3-tier Huon Pine platter. Serving with tea or with a sparkling wine option only from 2pm - 5pm, Come along and be the first to try them.

The Cormorant - Cafe on the Pier has the most stunning views & the mini tour of the Seahorse tanks was not only visually amazing, it was also extremely informative & kept the group enthralled. 18.01.2022 Today, sadly, we have to close the doors of the Cormorant Café. We will be back bigger and stronger than before once this awful virus has gone. In the meantime, should you want your Anvers Chocolate fix we have them available through the Seahorse World Gift Shop. Don't forget to grab your Anvers Easter Eggs before they're all gone!

07.01.2022 To our dear customers. Sadly The Cormorant shut at the end of March and I just wanted to let you know what is happening. At this stage we do not intend to open it like before and we have not set a date for reopening. Our priority will be to recover the Tourism experience gradually if possible as restrictions are reduced. It may be that we start it more as a coffee shop in the initial stages. We are so very thankful for the wonderful support of the Tasmanian community in the past and look forward to seeing you again sometime down the track.
