24.01.2022 Okay guys so here we are in the grips of something none of us have ever imagined before ... Please, please, please consider supporting small businesses ... The economical effects on us and everyone else in the next six months will be a very hard time for all ... The larger chain stores will survive this, but unfortunately, many of the smaller stores will not. ... When you can, please consider buying or hiring a costume from your local, grabbing a takeaway meal for lunch or tea from the local fish and chip shop, or coffee and cake from your local cafe, buy that birthday cake from a small cake business, continue to have a haircut from your local hairdresser around the corner, grab those flowers from your local florist up the road We would all be so very grateful... We appreciate and sympathise that many of you will be heading into some scary financial distress, but hopefully we will all manage to get through this without too much difficulty and trauma ... 20.01.2022 Hi everyone ... hope this finds you all well and safe ... Well, it’s been almost eight weeks since our doors were closed because of this CoVid19 pandemic And while it has been stressful and terrifying, things are still moving slowly forward with the business ... After bans are eventually lifted and people will be allowed to have parties and gatherings again, I’m hoping you will come back to visit me ... so all the madness can continue lol ... We still have much of the year to get through together ... With Book week moved to October ‘Curious Creatures, Wild Minds!’ ... and Halloween still to come ... 14.01.2022 Hi guys So after 28 weeks of being closed due to COVID I’ve decided in the month of October to start to open slowly from about 11 am to maybe 3pm weekdays ... (of course if I’m needed before or after these times please just contact me to arrange a time ) If busy, these times will change to be longer, and when and if restrictions continue to ease, fingers crossed our hours will be back to somewhat normal .... ... Thankyou for your patience and understanding as I’m trying to navigate through uncharted waters ... 09.01.2022 Ok guys .... so with Halloween this Saturday I’ve decided to open from 10 am to about 4 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm just to see if anyone out there is actually doing it this year lol Last week was a little crazy so many are still getting on with it Stock is running really fast out the door and I have contacts and latex moving the fastest so if you need some you’ll have to come grab it quick (Sorry no holds as people forget to get back to ...me and it sits behind the counter not sold ... sorry !!!! ) Stock has been very limited this year because of Covid and restrictions but I still have a bit available to mostly buy ... 06.01.2022 Hi everyone .... so here we still are desperately hanging on after having been closed now for 21 weeks But we still have fingers crossed hoping to get back to it at some point when people are permitted to have parties of more than the restrictions allow at the moment .... I’ve been meeting customers at the shop through appointments when they can’t find what they’re after anywhere else, so please keep that in mind .... ... Just wanting to keep in touch with everyone letting you all know that I AM still here lol ...
