You will be required to hold: Current working with children check (NSW) A certificate showing you have successfully completed Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) units of competency through a registered training organisation, in: menu planning, nutrition and safe food handling. (Provided the menu planning unit of competency or nutrition unit of competency is from an AQF 3 or higher hospitality, commercial cookery or health course.) OR A previous Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) (AQF 3) that complies with the requirements of a children’s services cook provided the transcript includes a unit in menu planning. A Statement of Attainment in NSW TAFE 3599 Cookery in Children’s Service You must also have: A commitment to demonstrate appropriate Workplace, Health and Safety standards A positive outlook and friendly persona An understanding of allergies in food preparation Able to menu plan using Munch and Move Ideal but not necessary: Prior experience cooking in an early childhood setting If this sounds like you then we would LOVE to hear from you! 14.01.2022 Welcome to the Possums room... This room caters for our 1-2yr olds. It allows opportunities for individual choice, social play, creative arts, dramatic play and much more. This age group is lucky enough to have their own playground which is covered with soft fall, has a sand pit and age appropriate climbing equipment so they can explore the outdoors. 10.01.2022 The Cottage Preschool is OPENING JANUARY 4th 2021!!!! We are very excited to announce we will be opening in the New Year and welcoming all our new families into our service. If you have already had a tour and have an enrolment form, please return your form to Liz or Mel to secure your child's position.
