24.01.2022 Asking empathetic questions that let others know we are listening, interested in their story, and care for them nurtures relationships and provides safety and security.

23.01.2022 We are open!! We will now be open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. A maximum of 10 people still applies during this time but we will be offering lunch in house or take away depending on numbers.... Food bank is available on all of these days also. We look forward to seeing everyone again, things are still a bit different but our delicious meals, wonderful volunteers and friendly atmosphere are still the same! Please be patient as we all find our feet in maintaining numbers and making sure we can provide the same great service and friendly, welcoming place for you all to come and visit

22.01.2022 while we provide a great service to the community with meals and food relief and other handouts we would like everyone to know we will be taking our annual holidays again over Christmas from Friday 21st Dec 2018 til Monday 21st Jan 2019. We apologise if this will challenge our regular customers and recipients. "Emergency only" food support may be arranged by contacting us via our Send Message link but may take time for responses due to on call roster of staff.

Last day open for business Wednesday 18th with lunch with Thurs/Fri just cleaning and closed for business if you see us there.... The end of the year is fast approaching and thus our team needs a rest to replenish their energy, have a clean up and wind down before doing it all again in 2020.There will be a last lunchtime community meal served o...n Wed 18th Dec at the usual time but with a more festive feel. Then the doors will close on Friday 20th Dec to tidy up. We will reopen on Wednesday 29th January 2020 following the Australia Day long weekend. For food relief emergencies only please contact this Facebook page via its Send Message link and admin will endeavour to arrange a suitable meeting time to address urgent requests with any available products. We wish the community many thanks for providing items and funds throughout the year to keep the doors open, the cupboards full and the stove cooking with the help of our wonderful volunteers who offer their time and gifts so willingly and selflessly to help others. May the Joy of Christmas bring you all Peace, Love and the Grace of God at this time should it be with family, friends or loved ones or by the simply blessing of sharing with someone who may not. 10.01.2022 Christmas is coming. You probably dont want to be reminded if its a stressful time of year. But remember the big picture. Jesus was born into the world to save us. Presents and big shindigs wont cut it no matter how hard you try unless you have welcomed Jesus into your heart. And if you happen to be shopping for the occasion The Crossing has a broad range of cards, 2019 calendars and other books and gifts for someone special in your life. Most have scriptural verse and biblical scenes of interest.
