19.01.2022 The day started with rainbows and then the next day finished with a glorious palette of colour over Lakeside and Tinaroo. Some paddle for exercise, some to win at regattas, some because they love the environment.

18.01.2022 Can’t wait to get back to paddling in this stunning environment. What’s holding me back.? Only me.

17.01.2022 Straight or bent arm?? ----------------------------------------------- Paddling is all about what happens in the water, with your paddle... Focus on the big pic...ture, Body and water together... Aim for efficiency, And setting yourself up for the strongest position without compromising your technique. It's not about you grabbing the water.. its actually about the water grabbing your blade. And make sure you can hold it and doesn't slip, ''that is a good catch'. Think about the load on your body, A straight arm uses mainly shoulders, A bent arm activates more back too and actually supports the shoulder more. So, practice with both and see what feels best for you and you can maintain...... I've done a video on it before but if you're keen for another drop an emoji and I'll throw one up... Drop your thoughts down either way # #paddletips # #betterpaddling #teaito #faivaa #mareretahiti
