06.01.2022 The Fat Controller has Gold Fever! He is off to the Mount Gambier Harness Racing Club Inc. for the Baxter Hire Gold Cup meeting tonight. He can't wait any longer so we will be closed until tomorrow morning. There is so much going on in the Mount tonight, get off the couch and head out to the trots, or the outdoor cinema or the local, or catch up with your mates. 04.01.2022 The Fat Controller, all of his engines and all of his carriages are working full steam at the South East Field Days so he is unable to open The Dining Car on Friday or Saturday. 03.01.2022 The Fat Controller has managed to convince young Mikey McInerney to entertain us all at the Truffle and Rail event this coming Friday night at Echo Farm, Mount Gambier. There are a very limited number of tickets left, so call in to The Dining Car at The Rail Wednesday or Thursday and pick up your tickets. NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE. The remaining few tickets will be sold on a first in basis. As I am focusing on serving great food for everyone at the event, we will be closed on Friday.
