24.01.2022 We have gone hopping mad... might have to change our name to The Rabbit Runner! Such beautiful colours, there are some amazing coat patterns/colours out there on the bunny world.

23.01.2022 Bad hair day Chloe the Smithfield and the cute Pekingese pup were rocking crazy hair dos this morning.

23.01.2022 With an ex truck driver as one of our drivers, we are more than happy to tow back horse floats (empty), caravans and boats etc from Melbourne to Tasmania or from Adelaide to Tasmania.

23.01.2022 The mothership has had new iron lungs installed. With temperatures of 28 degrees at 9am this morning, our dogs are nice and relaxed in air conditioned comfort.

20.01.2022 Phew, what a stinking hot day and night in Victoria. Had a lovely extended lunch break at Holbrook in the shade. The air conditioner definitely got a work out and is still going (still 30 degrees at midnight).

19.01.2022 Can’t fly your pet into Tasmania, regular road transport (plus a boat ride) is available to and from Tasmania. We sail regularly to and from Tasmania to Melbourne, with trips continuing onto Sydney/Brisbane or over to Adelaide.

18.01.2022 Tasmania-Melbourne-Ballarat-Bordertown -Adelaide-Bordertown-Ballarat-Melbourne-Tasmania 29 September - 2 October Need a dog from it to Tasmania to Melbourne? ... Need a dog from or to Tasmania to Adelaide? Need a dog from or to Melbourne to Adelaide? The Dog Transporter has a few spaces available for the end of month Adelaide trip. Leaving Tasmania on 29 September, arriving Melbourne on the morning of 30 September and arriving Adelaide that evening. Then leaving Adelaide and arriving in Melbourne on 01 October and arriving back in Tasmania on the 02 October.

If you haven’t received a reply by tomorrow afternoon, send me a *bump* message/email Once again, with the states closing their borders, border passes have been obtained under ‘transport, freight & logistics’ category

12.01.2022 Few pics of our latest travel companions on our last trip. From full grown South African Boerboels and Alaskan Malamutes to tiny chihuahuas puppies, we have the ability to transport all dog sizes. We have fortnightly return trips from Tasmania to Brisbane and monthly return trips from Tasmania to Adelaide. We also do private trips by arrangement.

09.01.2022 As the Virgin Freight at the Launceston Airport is closed, The Dog Transporter offers pet pick up and drop offs to the Hobart Airport. We are more than happy to collect and lodge you animals for flights or collect off a flight and drop off your animals to your home. Flights can also be arranged. Few of our furry and feathered passengers that we lodged today to send to Brisbane.

08.01.2022 On the road again, few pics from yesterday and this morning. All our adult dogs get walked on the lead and plenty of cuddles for the puppies.

08.01.2022 Anyone needing last minute transport from Melbourne to Tasmania, we have spaces available for Saturday night’s sailing and arriving in Tasmania Sunday. This service runs right down to Hobart.

08.01.2022 That’s 2020 done and dusted. Our final interstate run completed for the year. The Dog Transporter would like to wish everyone and their furbabies a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thankyou to all our wonderful clients who have supported the fledgling business and to all the other transporters we have linked up with to get pets to their destinations We are still lodging dogs on flights in Hobart over the festive season (bar 25-28 December)

03.01.2022 All relevant travel permits are in place for the new Victorian border permits Out last trip to South Australua for the year leaves Tasmania on 30/11 and arrives in Adelaide the evening of 1/12 and then returns to Tasmania arriving on 4/12.

02.01.2022 Calling all passengers for South Australia We are off to South Australia again at the end of the month. Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, Melbourne, Ballarat, Ararat, Horsham, Bordertown, Murray Bridge, Adelaide and return. Leaving Tasmania on the 27/10 and arriving Adelaide on 28/10 and returning to Tasmania, arriving on 31/10.... Door to door service in Melbourne or Adelaide, this can be arranged, PM for quote. If you are struggling to get your pet to WA, we can road transport it to Adelaide, then in conjunction with air transport companies, get it flown to Western Australia.
