21.01.2022 But Wait .....there's more :) ***** Kylie’s house is a well appointed, immaculately clean, thoughtfully and tastefully presented home away from home. We arrived with 2 teenagers and a 9yr old, JetSki and Kayak - keen to relax but also explore the abundant waterways. Kylie’s house had many living areas ; the games room was a big hit with the the kids, there is a great cooks kitchen and pool to boot! If you want to stay away from the tourist areas and are happy to have day trips to Bribie and Caloundra while still enjoying lazy, quiet days in between then Kylie’s place is highly recommended.

20.01.2022 The Donnybrook Retreat offers comfort for the whole family with living areas downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, there is a theatre room with a PS3 and 4 remotes to play games (some provided) and watch DVD’s (some provided) and a chrome cast facility for streaming from your device to the TV. The house is only 450 metres from the boat ramp, the Donnybrook bait and tackle cafe and walking distance to the Donnybrook Sports and Community Club which opens at 3pm everyday and serve...s dinner til 8pm. They offer barefoot bowls and karaoke every 2nd Saturday night and sell takeaway drinks. Donnybrook is the perfect place for relaxing and fishing, boating or kayaking it is a quiet lovely little town only 45mins from the Brisbane CBD , 15 minutes from Caboolture and 45 mins from the Sunshine Coast, If you are prepared to take a gravel road you may be provided with a unique opportunity to see some local wild horses on the Beerburrum-Donnybrook Rd in the morning or late afternoon. The closest major population centre is Caboolture, 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the West and 55.9 kilometres ( 34 mi ) south of Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.

Kylie went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and make our experience extra special. No problems at all, everything went smoothly and we had a great time at Donnybrook! 12.01.2022 Looking to unwind and relax less than an hour away from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast with enough room for the whole family? Then the Donnybrook Retreat is the place for you, you can relax in the Cabana overlooking the pool, take a dip or just watch the kids, make use of the BBQ and Kayaks provided, or just relax in air conditioned comfort to escape the heat. We have created 2 seperate TV areas with a Theatre room in the back of the house for those who wish to enjoy a movie... or PS3 game while the front living room has a TV opposite the large kitchen that you can watch while the kids do their thing, the yard is fully fenced and we have a security/sensor light in the front. There is a carport in the back yard to keep your vehicle undercover. An outside table and chairs on the front verandah is a lovely place to eat meals or just hang out and slow down to the local pace of life. Across the road is a huge reserve area ideal for a stroll or a big game of cricket or footy for the whole family. Take leisurely strolls along the waterfront or take the kids down to the skatepark and playground for some fun or to shoot some hoops. Drakes supermarket Caboolture is 15 mins down Pumicestone Rd for fresh fruit and veggies and all your shopping needs and the Big Fish Bottle Shop is located on the east side of the highway next to petrol station and Red Rooster.
