03.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) and The Duke of Ed We understand that Duke of Ed Participants may be impacted by COVID-19. The National Office has developed a document for Award Leaders, Assessors, parents and Participants to support young people to stay engaged and on track with their Award during this time. It has a few ideas on how Participants can continue to progress through their Award, even if they are confined to their homes or if schools are closed.... Please share this document with your Award community: https://bit.ly/2IZYdIk Should Participants need to take a break from their activities, the Award allows some flexibility and Award Leaders are encouraged to consult the Award Handbook regarding time requirements. Face to face school visits have ceased for the time being, however we will be available and contactable via email or phone to assist you with any queries. Please be advised that we are in the process of establishing an effective online platform to deliver virtual support to Participants and volunteers.
