Registrations open tomorrow for this years Spaghetti Bridge Competition, which is a problem-solving engineering cha...llenge for students from Grades 5 to 12, run by The Engineering Link Group Teams have two months to plan, design and build a bridge from store-bought spaghetti and glue. They come together at a venue to test their bridges strength on a custom-made rig. The bridge that withstands the most force is declared the winner, with prize money of $2,000! Testing will take place towards the end of Term 3 and will be at a combination of live sites (COVID-19 restrictions-permitting) and virtual (teams can courier their bridges to them to record the testing).
