11.01.2022 Test takers of the IELTS examination must familiarize themselves with band descriptors. One of the band criteria of the Speaking and Writing test is Cohesive Device which means flow. As you develop your paragraph, your ideas must be related to each other and logically connected with linking words i.e. therefore, however, furthermore, hence, etc. These referencing or linking words can help you score 7 or above band if you use them wisely.
04.01.2022 A simple way to learn new vocabulary is through active reading and listening which should be part of your daily routine. You should make a conscious decision to pay close attention to what you’re reading or what’s being said and focusing on what you can learn from it. Always remember what words mean from the context.
02.01.2022 Speed reading tip: Avoid subvocalization. Reading aloud may help you remember concepts but it is a major barrier to speed. To increase your reading speed stop mouthing each and every word which will put you in a state conducive for engagement.
