24.01.2022 Very time consuming laying out the pattern but well worth the effort. Using epoxy and polyurethane technology in this application at a new petrol station will far outlast the old outdated spray on tile product. #Floorexequipment #realworldepoxyproduct

23.01.2022 Look what my client has done in her premises once we finished the white polyurethane floor. SIMPLY STUNNING.

21.01.2022 The Undercover Beer Garden Bar is opened this Friday & Saturday night @thecommie Tonights Special is Pan-Fried Barramundi with creamy butter lemon sauce and your choice of sides $27 #commercialhotelclermont

19.01.2022 An awesome shed we did a couple of years ago has just popped up on my news feed for sale. Still looking brilliant.

19.01.2022 I think I can be confident that the client was happy with the job. On completion, not only did they hand over the cheque, the lady of the house personally autographed copies of both her books that she has authored and the gentleman of the house gave me not one but two bottles of his home distilled Scotch!! (PS the Scotch is beautiful!!)

18.01.2022 Shed floor and garage floor done together to complete a beautiful house.

18.01.2022 A couple of hundred meters of epoxy/flake over tiles. Very tight time frame but where there is a will there is a way

17.01.2022 I love working with this manufacturer - we have been using their epoxy products for about 15 years now. Their constant R&D, and outside the box thinking ensures that the products that they supply us always behave and perform exactly as they should.

16.01.2022 This mob build beautiful homes. Have enjoyed working with them a couple of times.

15.01.2022 Another terrific week done and dusted. Gee they are flying by! 9 very happy customers. 9 jobs completed on time and budget. A massive thanks to my small team of skilled, dedicated workers who continue to make silk purses out of sows ears. #Floorexequipment #realworldepoxyproduct

15.01.2022 Looking after the flooring desires of a pair of passionate All Blacks fans.

14.01.2022 How to make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

13.01.2022 Contracted in paradise today. I love doing high end houses!!

13.01.2022 I like domestic jobs but I like industrial jobs more, because we can crank up the big gear.

12.01.2022 Getting them done close to home.

12.01.2022 This is a night club floor that gets hosed out each night. The owner required 3 things from us. 1. It must be black, 2. It must be non slip and 3. It must last for 10 years. No worries - a heavy grind followed by a pass with the shot blaster, an epoxy/sand mortar to repair all the damage and imperfections then 2 x layers of 100% solids Kevlar reinforced epoxy broadcast to rejection with aluminium oxide. We were thrilled to be able to assist this business in doing this job during their forced COVID-19 closure. They will be reopening soon and hopefully they will be back in full swing shortly there after. Making silk purses out of sows ears since 1999!

12.01.2022 Before and after.

11.01.2022 Before, during and after! Making silk purses out of sows ears since 1999.

11.01.2022 There are solutions!!

10.01.2022 Grind grind and grind some more!!!

09.01.2022 Another serious shed. Business on the inside party on the outside.

09.01.2022 Before and After

09.01.2022 And thats a wrap! Start to finish in under 30 hours.

09.01.2022 We enjoyed this job immensely. The publican looked after us grandly.

09.01.2022 This room already had black skirting boards. Our floor has tied the room together. Another little garage transformed into a multi purpose space.

08.01.2022 His half of the shed and her half. I know who got the better deal!!

08.01.2022 Tune in and learn something new. My old mate sure has a good head for radio

07.01.2022 Another Epoxy Flooring Expert popped up in my area today. This time its a local Landscaper who has decided to throw their hat in the ring. Not surprisingly, when a person asked under their FB post what preparation they do before applying the epoxy coating they replied pressure wash and light acid wash.....OMFG!!!!! Acid etching has not been used in this industry for about 25 years! Its dangerous to the applicator and client, it is incredibly environmentally unfriendly a...s the acid contaminated water is inevitably washed down the drain but most importantly the acid (unless neutralised) continues to attack the concrete under the new epoxy coating - delamination is inevitable!!! Over the last couple of years Ive seen my local carpet cleaning guy, the pest control guy, the lawn mower guy and now the landscaper guy declare themselves (falsely) appropriately qualified and experienced to take money off YOU, the unsuspecting locals. In a couple of those cases the QBCC had something to say about it, the others just fell by the wayside never to be seen again - which for the clients who were chasing them re warranty claims was a problem!! When picking a flooring contracting company to do your work, ask them 3 things; 1. To show you their QBCC Licence. If they dont have one then they are a handyman. 2. What preparation steps do they take to prepare your concrete for coating. (If they say Acid etching/pressure washing - run away!!!! Diamond grinding and or Shot Blasting are the only acceptable preparation methods in 2020) 3. Ask to see evidence of their previous flooring jobs. (Not the file photographs of their epoxy supplier - the work THEY have done.) And for the record, no we wont paint your ceiling, mow your lawn, spray for fleas or plant you a rose garden, so please dont ask

07.01.2022 This flake blend is one of our most popular colour combinations. On a grey epoxy base, this black, grey and white flake combination always looks stunning.

03.01.2022 If there is such a thing as Shed Envy then this is a trigger for sure! Great shed, great clients.

02.01.2022 The crappy old water tank was going to detract from the new floor.......so we sorted the tank out as well!!

01.01.2022 A couple of extra preparation steps in this job. The starting point was exposed aggregate that had to be either ground flat or epoxy/sand filled to leave a flat surface for an epoxy/flake finish to be applied. We chose to level the surface with an epoxy/sand grout as this is both quick and ensures an outrageous bond to the substrate for all following layers. It also is more cost efficient for the client as the grinding process is brutal on the diamond tooling and we could have quite easily worn out a thousand dollars worth of diamonds. (Not to mention the 6-8hrs in saved labour). The end result was excellent and fits the clients chosen colour scheme perfectly.

01.01.2022 Am very proud to have contributed to the floor finishes in this magnificent home. I’ve told you before that this mob build beautiful homes!!!. Executive Living Homes Pty Ltd
