14.01.2022 People who came to the Christmas Dance Night last Saturday had the loveliest time with fantastic live music by Will Birkenstock, a beautiful dance floor and a delicious buffet. We will be doing more of these enchanting social nights on a regular basis!

10.01.2022 There is still lots of room for this Saturday 9th at The Christmas Dance Night at The Portland Golf Club - it should be a gorgeous event for all with a buffet dinner and sparkling wine for $25. www.fairways-restaurant.com or the event page https://www.facebook.com/events/362044207556078/

06.01.2022 The Fairways Restaurant and the Portland Golf Club congratulate all the fabulous Year 12 Students for achieving their twelve years of education. They held their Year 12 Formal at The Portland Golf Club on Friday 10th November 2017 and it was a magnificent event, organised by themselves, beautifully decorated, and they all looked amazing. Best wishes to you all, you are our future, go and have amazing lives. http://www.lithgowmercury.com.au//year-12-formal-portland/

03.01.2022 We had the most fun evening ever at The Fairways Restaurant Portland Golf Club last night with our Christmas Lantern Making afternoon. From 4pm we started making lanterns, then stopped for dinner where we were serenaded by Martyn Cook on the Celtic Harp. We also had a surprise visit by some delightful Christmas Carol singers who turned up at dinner. We all sang along to their joyful song. Then as it was getting dark we set off on the fairways which have never looked better (thanks to the enduring and tireless work of Barry Fardell!) and lit the lanterns off a T. We walked back in the dark singing Christmas songs. This was a FREE EVENT, so families put this in your diaries for next year because it was awesome!
