21.01.2022 It is with great regret that the FATD has had to cancel the up and coming Autumn Festival on the 3 March at Petersham due to the insufficient number to run the Competition Regards Directors FATD

20.01.2022 FATD. Yesterday was a great day for dancers, mum's and dads as well as spectators at Petersham Town Hall. Highlight of the day were the masters events. The unregistered grades as well as registered grades were also well supported. Good quality couples throughout the day made the day most enjoyable. Also nice to see was the newer young Professionals participating to gain their final Quals. The music was as usual excellent.Couples and families traveled many miles to support this competition and on doing so we thank you.

07.01.2022 Federal Association Of Dance (FATD) would like to take a collective few moments to celebrate the life of Bob Courts and his contribution to the Australian Dancing stage, Dance Community at large of and his outstanding Generous Personality. Bob was a good man with great vision, integrity and commitment. A love of his work and a desire that our sport was presented professionally, his dedication and his work assisted in lifting the profile of the Australian Dance over his yea...rs with us. Whilst many of you may not have had the privilege of meeting Bob, you would no doubt recognise him for his strong work ethics, willing to share, to always be there when needed the most, his work will remain in our memory. Past and Present Dance Organizations all would voice our deep appreciation for his help. He is survived by a caring family: wife Pamelia, Sharon and Amanda. A missed colleague, May he rest in Peace. We wish his family well. The world of Australian Dance is far richer, `Because you were here’. Directors of FATD
