25.01.2022 TGIF!! Just a few pics of what I’ve been up to over the past week. The first pic is a beautiful property in Campania, of which the owner thought 2 pits are better than one. A dedicated Santa Maria grill accompanied by a larger 1.5m square pit for the larger logs. Next pics are of a 1.2m square pit with drop in grill in a sunken entertainment area, finished off with bluestone spalls. Have a great weekend all! Regards Adam

24.01.2022 When size matters!! I’ve spent a couple of days making this beast, 1.8m square, to be filled with Tassie Gold oversized rocks it is going to look great once installed on Saturday. One of my standard half drum pits would completely fit inside the pit area of this monster. It’s also going to have a 30kg spit attachment, which will easily do a full lamb. I’ll put up some more pics once it’s installed. Just in time for the winter solstice

22.01.2022 Just for something different. I made up a fire pit for Kristy, who also wanted a unique garden bed to match. We did some sketches and this is what we came up with. It’s huge at 2m long by 1.5wide and 1m high. It’s got a rock island in the middle for feature plantings. This is going to look unreal once it’s all planted out! I’ve had a busy day doing installs and quotes so I can have a free day on Father’s Day. Im lucky enough to be blessed with four sons and I love being a Dad to them. 15.01.2022 Happy Sunday all. Lucky I love my job, this is what’s kept me busy most of today. A 1mx1.3m fire pit, with removable Santa Maria grill on top. This one is the centrepiece of a beautiful waterfront property at Dodges Ferry property, and I’m assured it’s going to get plenty of use over summer. I used parts from and old 1930’s push mower salvaged from the tip shop to create the winding mechanism and pin lock. The steel edging is untreated,so it will be nicely rusted in a few months. So much fabrication work goes into making these grills, they really have to be mm perfect to work perfectly, but the time spent making them is worth the end result. A 1.2mx1.2m pit filled with Tassie gold and black edging, I also excavated the grass area, put in an edge and filled the area with 20mm tassie gold to match. 11.01.2022 Hi all. I’m super busy trying to get all orders done before Christmas. Just shot this short video to explain a Santa Maria grill as I get many questions about them, and how they differ from a spit or rotisserie. I’ve also had messages from my followers about people on Tassie buy and sell or Gumtree copying my Gabion fire pit design, I’m flattered. 07.01.2022 Here’s some pics of the mega pit I posted yesterday all filled and installed. You can see how the spit is easily removed when not in use. Thanks to my two eldest boys ( I have 4), Mitch and Josh for giving Dad a hand today. Looking forward to some more pictures of some fire coming out of it!!

05.01.2022 Hi all. At least this crappy weather has allowed me to catch up somewhat on a long list of orders! I delivered these over the weekend for a customer in Bellerive who is having some landscaping done by Phil at Fine line gardens. My gabion seating starts at $205 a metre unfilled. Phil is doing all the rock install on this project, thanks!! If you’re after something special get in touch, I have around a 6-8 week wait ATM depending on what you are after. Cheers Adam

03.01.2022 Happy weekend! I installed this 1.2mx1.4m fire pit with Santa Maria grill for Stuart and Kimberly today. It’s filled with Tassie Gold Oversize rocks, and finished off with heat proof black coating on the edges. The grill has and old German drive wheel and Massey Fegasen drive pin to keep it in place. I like to make all my grills individual with these unique bits and pieces. I’m assured this is going to get plenty of use starting tomorrow night. Action shots to follow. 01.01.2022 With summer just around the corner, grills and plates are in demand! The first few pics are of a fire pit incorporating at Santa Maria grill and a couple of gabion seats to match. This was made for a Chef and I’m assured it’s going to get a workout! The other pit has a drop in grill and I also made a spit insert to suit this as well. Cheers Adam
