04.01.2022 What a delightful place to secret myself whilst I wait for the last 15 minutes till the Walking with Vida Tour starts with the Museum of Brisbane. I like to hid...e then ‘make an appearance’ and stay in character till the end. And here... the magnificent Concert Hall of Brisbane City Hall, with it’s smell of freshly polished floorboards and acoustic silence. Ahhh ..... Vida loved this building deeply and I can understand why. She painted it many times during its construction and on completion in 1930 and she knew its corridors intimately. See more
