15.01.2022 Upon recently purchasing acreage in the district of Canungra after a 8 month search we had no comprehension how wonderful the community was until moving here. We both grew up in country Victoria and Canungra has reminded us of the areas we cherished as kids. Although we have been in the area for the last 7 years (Tamborine and Tamborine Mountain) we had not spent a great deal of time at Canungra. We have joined the Canungra community with our 2 fur babies Milky and Muttly a...nd commenced the task of creating a garden we can share with others. To say it has been a busy time is an understatement, however we are enjoying every minute of it. We have been involved in the plant nursery industry for nearly 8 years and the love of plants started as a children from our parents and grandparents. We are passionate about preserving and growing plants that are rarely available in the usual commercial sense from years gone by. We would love to hear from others that have special plants that their parents or grandparents grew. The story of our new life in Canungra will be continued

14.01.2022 A plant that I am particular fond and passionate about is Salvias. I love them because they thrive in our climate. Salvias are commonly known as Sages, there are herbal, culinary and ornamental salvias. Many originate from areas such as South America, Mexico, South Africa and Asia. They grow and perform exceptionally well in the sub tropics and temperate regions. Many salvias tolerate drought and frosts conditions. They can range in size from ground cover through to 3-4 metres in size. Salvias boast every colour of the rainbow. Many salvias flower up to 9 months of the year and require a prune each year to encourage new growth and flowering.

06.01.2022 A great event in our community... If you're looking for beautiful and rare collectables, this is a must to attend!
