22.01.2022 If you don't know what "Coal Seam Gas" means for your family, it's time to find out. Watch and share our Official Trailer. "No Australian voter should miss this... film" ~ Bob Brown "If you care about our country, see it! ~ Alan Jones Frackman is like no other Australian film. It aims to spark a broad national conversation about the risks of our headlong rush into massive coal seam gas development. Five years in the making, it not only entertains and engages, it also gives audiences the tools to get involved in what is becoming the largest social movement our nation has seen in decades. It’s a deeply political film, but not the old style that is so badly failing us. This is the New Politics, bringing together old and young, city and country, conservative and progressive in a shared effort to prevent an environmental catastrophe. Can we imagine any other issue that would bring together the likes of Alan Jones and Bob Brown? See it and find out why. Take a stand with us and be part of the largest social movement in Australia’s history. www.frackmanthemovie.com

20.01.2022 Beautiful private garden in Belgium with normal garden bed and raised garden bed - the plastic bottle (another way to recycle plastic) is to chase the moles away. The lavender was full of honey bees, bumble bees and butterflies. Very unusual onions growing in bunches of about 5 at the top of the stalks, apparently these are very spicy :)

19.01.2022 Recent research has shown that: Some measures of climate change are tracking at or above the worst case scenarios considered possible just a couple of years ago. Climate extremes are pushing new boundaries, for example the unprecedented heat wave in south-eastern Australia experienced early in 2009. Changes to ice sheet dynamics could raise sea levels beyond current IPCC estimates. Ocean acidification could lead to permanent changes to marine ecosystems.... Climate change is likely to be more rapid and severe, and more costly and dangerous than previously thought [source: Australian Govt] See more

15.01.2022 Darmstadt Germany - Herb Garden in public park. The park is maintained by volunteers (based on the weeds, there is a lack of volunteers). Adjoining the herb garden is a food forest with fruit trees. As the park is called "Rosenhoehe" there are plenty of roses as well. These were in need of some TLC but still beautiful though. The schools use the public park as an educational park also and quite a few areas are purposely left overgrown with grass and wild flowers, creating a little paradise for bees, butterflies and other insects and creepy crawlies.

13.01.2022 We are very excited to be able to offer you organised tours. Feel free to message us specific requests and we look forward seeing you soon :)

08.01.2022 Council has now approved our Tucker Patch as a point for sale of members produce at our weekly Friday Farmgate. Meeting of growers and prospective growers Friday 25 July 2014 at 10 am. If you are interested please contact us for the relevant information. Basic to The Gloucester Projects position is that Gloucesters future economy is best and most sustainably developed by extending Gloucesters food product and distribution. TGPs Tucker Patch has been developed to demonstr...ate that fruit and vegetable growing is very suitable to occupy a lot of our land in economically and sustainably producing food. Selling horticultural produce is difficult under current marketing conditions. TGP has been instrumental in setting up the farmers market, with our Community Stall, and more recently, the Friday Farmgate stall at the Tucker Patch. Soon, with the Tucker Patch production increased by our growers produce, we will need to introduce our plan to sell produce outside the Gloucester region. Because of the current commercial market control, growers cannot expect to sell produce through the retail chain. TGP is committed to establishing direct links with food distribution community organisations in metropolitan areas so as to ensure that growers get a good return for their efforts and consumers get fresh and nutritious food. With TGP acting as the direct marketing agent, it will be possible that if growers grow to the plan and produce good quality fruit and vegies, their produce will be sold, and at better prices. Keep in mind that the Tucker Patch has been set up to provide demonstrations, advice and support for growers. If anyone wants help on what to grow and how best to grow under local conditions, get in touch with our experts, Marnie or Sarah. Not a member yet? The membership is a mere $10 and will give you access to a range of services. So why not join?

03.01.2022 Flowforms in Biodynamics - "The maintenance and creation of water features of all kinds in our environment is of vital importance. Even though water supplies ar...e becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, public consciousness regarding waters value and preciousness is in need of a boost. It is especially important to develop water features which are designed in waters own terms, that is in terms of flowing pulsing movements over intimately caressed surfaces. This in itself should make us more aware of this elements extraordinary qualities in the forming and upholding of our environment. As we enhance our understanding so do we learn to value it in new ways and take greater responsibility for its use in everyday life."
