12.01.2022 Sad day today as the family lay Joe to rest in Sydney. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to his family and everyone that loves the bro We’re going to miss you. I’ll always remember you like this bro, forever loving life, and being the crack up guy you were. ... I’ll miss the laughs in the barbershop We laughed even when the customers didn’t get it Can’t believe you’re gone, it’s made me realise we can’t take life and the people we love for granted. Over these weeks so many customers and friends have come down to the shop and spoken about you, sharing stories of you and thinking of you and your family. I know they’re all feeling it hearing the news of your passing. You were more than a barber, you were a friend and an ear to everyone that sat in your chair. I told a customer just yesterday it would be hard without you here to carry the conversations because I just rely on my cuts but you gave our customers a good cut, a good conversation and made life long friendships. Thank you for helping me with the barbershop all these years. Joe suffered a freak accident last Monday at Burleigh Beach, he’s fighting his biggest fight and we want to support him in his time of need.
