24.01.2022 Okay peoples, book in 19th July on your calendar. It's a Sunday and we have a booked a Band, 'Dave Rastricks & Friends'. They will start 6pm in the beer garden (family friendly time). We'll have the fires going. It's the last day of School holidays so everyone should be home. Have a look Dave's website : https://davidrastrick.com/welcome

22.01.2022 The GODI will be open again from this Saturday the 6th of June from 11am. ------------------------------------------------------------ The time has arrived! Back to normal, meals are available 12-2pm and 6-8pm - Dine in and take away 7 days a week... A few requirements we have to adhere with tier 3 of the COVID Hospitality Plan moving forward: - Patrons wether eating or not need to be seated, you can now sit at the bar to have a beer! - We request meal bookings be made to avoid disappointment. - Kids corner is off limits for now, due to the fact everyone has to remain seated. - All customers (name and number) are required to be recorded in the COVID contact register until further notice. - Contactless payment (EFTpos) is appreciated. Social distancing has been halved to 2 square metres pp and we do need to enforce this (as well as guest numbers) so please be kind to staff. Hand sanitiser is here to be used so please do so. We look forward to seeing you all soon! It’s been a long 10 weeks! We are excited to be back, even with these restrictions in place. We will do our best to accommodate as many as we can, but please understand if we are unable to let everyone in. 21.01.2022 Just as the dust settles after a busy weekend, we at The GODI are rapt to advise we have another band booked to perform here 21st November. That is less than a fortnight away! The Snitchers, from Nannup will be playing in the beer garden to entertain you. Their Genre is R & B, Classic Rock and Ballads and will be playing 7.30pm 11.30pm. The three piece band will make you laugh and make the night a fun one. On that same the weekend, the social bike club ‘Brothers As One’ will be here with their members travelling from Albany, Perth and Bunbury for a get together. All our accommodation is already booked, however there is plenty of camping space behind the pub and there are toilets/showers. (Bring your swags). So, if you are free, need a break from harvesting or just want to listen to some live music, please come along.

20.01.2022 Great news! Stand up beers and no more guest register from Saturday. Please note, there are still some restrictions with COVID-19. Patrons must still execise 1.5m physical distancing. Also Parents, the GODI cannot have toys or books for use at this stage. Your children have to be seated/supervised and within one meter from you. We thank you for you understanding this.

19.01.2022 The Dumbleyung Allstars dart team has made the B Grade Grand Final! Now, only one more game to win. They're playing Wagin Redbacks at Darkan on Saturday. Good luck from everyone at The GODI.

18.01.2022 At the moment we're having ceiling work done on staircase and a passageway upstairs . Because of this, we're unable to provide accommodation for a week. Sorry for any inconvenience to travellers or contractors. It needed to be done.

16.01.2022 The G.O.D.I. has a vacancy for a Casual Bar person 15 22 hours per week. This will include some Saturday and Sunday Nights from time to time. You will be required to have an RSA certificate for the position. (and one lovely Harley) L-R 1947 Indian Chief 1944 Army Chief which started her rebuild as a $10 dollar lone fuel tank from Mt Magnet and has been rebuilt piece by piece, has had her sidecar taken off for this journey 1948 Harley Davidson 1940 Indian Chief- which is a real ex California police bike from Hollister California. ... 11.01.2022 What a busy weekend just gone. We had 'BluMetal' performing here Saturday night on the lawn out the back. This was organised in conjuction with The South West Riders Social Club from Bunbury. They had a ride to raise funds for ADSA (Asbestos Diseases Scoiety of Aus) with The GODI as the destination. It was a great night with no rain, no mosquitos and no wind. All our rooms were full and the remainder of riders brought their swgas etc. A night of good rock music, good mood and entertaining banter! We fed eveyone with Beef and Gravy rolls and then for Sunday breakfast, Bacon and Egg Rolls. It was also great to see some of our busy locals enjoy the night. (even after working on the headers or playing bowls). My thanks to all our staff and also Ray Justins for providing the drop trailer for the band.

10.01.2022 The GODI has booked the Band ‘Blumetal’ to perform here 7th November 2020. This is the weekend the South West Riders Social club have their fundraising Poker Run ride with the destination Dumbleyung. We have limited accommodation, so early bookings are essential. Also there is plenty of space behind the pub where you can bring your swags/tents or campers etc. The back bar will be open and (depending on weather conditions) fire pits going. As we expect a good crowd, there wi...ll be a limited menu of Beef Gravy rolls on the night. Due to the success last year, this has now become an annual event and we hope you will drop in and enjoy the music, atmosphere. See more
