07.01.2022 BWR will open to both Camping and Day Visitor access from 1pm, Friday 3 July to 6pm, Sunday 19 July for the NSW School Holidays. Public access hours have been c...hanged temporarily. BWR will open for Day Visitors between 1pm and 6pm Friday and 8:30am to 6pm throughout the school holidays. Last entry for Day Visitors will be 5pm. Day Visitors are to clear the peninsula by 6pm when internal range gates will be closed. Campers must check in at the Visitors Centre to be allocated a campsite and pay camp fees before proceeding to the Campground. The Visitor Centre will be open for Campsite allocation from 12pm to 6pm Friday and 10:30am to 6pm throughout the holidays. There is no access for new campers arriving after 6pm. Visitors are reminded that vehicle numbers are restricted and visitors may experience short delays on entry. Any visitors (day visitors and campers alike) from the Victorian COVID-19 lockdown postcode areas will be REFUSED ENTRY. Visitors/ drivers may be required to present their drivers licenses to confirm that they and their party are not from a restricted Victorian postcode. Campers will be required to complete a Coronavirus Declaration on arrival. Visitors are reminded to adhere to social distancing of 1.5m between people and current social gathering limits of 20 people. BWR Rangers will be monitoring public compliance to these restrictions. Failure to comply will result in the closure of BWR for the following 24hr period. Public amenities across BWR will be cleaned daily when open for public access. Hand sanitizer has been placed in all port-a-loos across BWR, however we strongly encourage all visitors to bring a supply of fresh water and hand cleaning equipment for personal use. BWR will closefrom 6pm Sunday 19 for Military Operations.
