24.01.2022 The club will be displaying a HO layout and Road and Rail Hobbies will be at the Stawell Vintage Tractor & Engine Club 2020 Annual Rally 14th & 15th March 2020 at the Stawell Harness Racing Club. Vintage Tractor Pull on the Saturday starting at 9.30am. Vintage Tractor, Engines, Trucks, Cars, Motorbikes, Model Trains, Collectable Displays, Hobby Displays, Market Stall and lots more. Food & Drinks will be available both days and evening meals from the Trackside Bistro.... Entry - Free for exhibitors - Adults $10 - Children under 16 Free. See more

About 5m in 2 modules and still under construction with some scenery done. its in ballarat with one of our members and will be moved to the Stawell goods shed in the next few weeks. 21.01.2022 Another successful Ararat Model Train Show has come to a close and pack up is well underway. We would like to thank everyone that attend over the weekend and hope you all enjoyed the show. And a big thank you to the Acacia Caravan and Tourist Park for sponsoring our show. We will be back next year for our 4th Ararat Model Train Show and we have our 22nd Stawell Model Train Exhibition coming up in July this year. :)

12.01.2022 Teddy Bear Picnic at Hamilton Sunday 22nd March 2020 Ride on trains outside with Kilmore east HO layout inside. The Grampian Model Railroaders went to help out last year and was a great day out.

11.01.2022 The club will be at Kyneton 7-9th march (labor day long weekend) with 2 layouts. there will be N, HO, On30, Australian, Canadian, English and the few traders. this year eftpos will be available, you can also get a Coffee or Slurpee, a sausage in bread from the scouts. Plenty of parking. Always a great show and only about 900m from the railway station if coming by v/line

11.01.2022 Looks like we wont be back for meetings with the covid restrictions untill after the 23rd of November at the earliest and hope everyone has been busy in there train rooms/sheds. Video for the people that miss seeing trains going passed the club rooms. Here is NR106 NR2 with 4PM6 on its way to Melbourne from Perth. There are speed restrictions through stawell thats why its going slow

07.01.2022 We are setup at Kyneton Model Railway Exhibition and one of the other big layouts on display. 7-9 March 2020

06.01.2022 Could you please share this around as we still have people calling us to see if the exhibition is going ahead this year. The answer is NO and with the current restrictions most events across Victoria will be cancelled for some time to come. :(

04.01.2022 While there was no meetings on there was some earthworks done around the good shed and we are back having meetings again thursday nights from 7.30pm. We have also started planning for the Ararat train show in February next year.

03.01.2022 The odd things we get to see passing the clubrooms and through Stawell taken early in the morning. 4702 4701 with 3 NSW carriages. Most people think its a passenger train but its not what you think it is. Its the first time a NSW 47 class has been in western Victoria

02.01.2022 The committee of the Grampian Model Railroaders has made the hard, but necessary call to cancel the 2020 Stawell Model Railway Exhibition in july because of Covid-19. We hope to see you back in 2021 for both the Ararat Model Train Show and the Stawell Model Railway Exhibition.
