23.01.2022 A spoon of Best of the Bone to your potatoes and your mince .. a basic Shepherds Pie with extra special flavour. Most kids love Shepherds Pie with creamy, buttery mashed potatoes ... an easy way to get that gut loving, nutrient packed broth into their little tummies. I LOVE basic! and #gutslovebroth.

21.01.2022 BEEF broth on FISH? Seriously? Why not - when the broth is the fermented coconut one. A great combo. Warm a generous teaspoon of Best of the Bone in the pan fried butter that gently cooked the fish. Add a splash of coconut cream or sour cream. I added some grated cheese but no need. The broth and cream dont need it I decided Wallah! A gourmet sauce in a minute flat. So basic .. so delish .. so nutritious. I LOVE basic and #gutslovebroth

21.01.2022 Freshly rendered LARD. Same as supermarket varieties? Unlikely. I source pig fat from a small artisan farm. The pigs are 100% free range and never fed grain or soy. This optimises the nutritional value of the product. Lard is high in Vit K2 .. an essential nutrient need to activate all fat soluable vitamins (A,D,E). 20.01.2022 Looks pretty ordinary doesn't it? It is! Just boring old soup bones and some fresh vegies with a few lentils chucked in for good measure. Then WHY does it taste better than any stew you'd find at any gourmet restaurant and WHY is it sooo easy to make? Oh yes, and WHY is the nutrient content very high? Basically , 2 reasons: 1. It contains a generous amount of Best of the Bone broth and 2. I always throw in a generous amount of sour cream at the end (dairy not ok for you...? Coconut cream is nice too). The lentils and barley make it so thick and the root veggies are super filing. Stir fry your onion, tomato snd mushrooms in butter or olive oil and throw in at the end. Make a big whack of the stuff and freeze for a future nourishing and deeply satisfying meal. (Remember .. when using any bone broth DONT mictowave to reheat as the glutamate converts to nasty MSG. 11.01.2022 I forget the name of this herb (tastes a bit like liquorice), but if you want to attract bees ... it's a winner .. and so easy to grow. The flowers look pretty in a little vase too. WIN WIN
