01.01.2022 WINE - THE MANAGERS PICK THE 5OS PROJECT 2017 GRENACHE Tasting Notes - Cooling dark fruits, spice and violets to begin. Not lively and flashy like so many McLaren Vale Grenache. The wine is sure of its capabilities. Subtle red fruits build through the middle of the palate, while a tight, lean acid line keeps the wine fresh. Well balanced and proportioned. Neither fruit nor tannin dominating. Warming alcohol and a hint of fresh herbs at the close. Much to give in the next 5 years.
