23.01.2022 Beautiful bouncy #ponytail using @nakhair and @kykhaircare . Preparing for a windy day a ponytail is a great option to still show length and have hair partly down yet be secure. Using #kykmagicdust I could give texture and body to help give more texture to curl and therefor longer lasting hair. We used hair padding a clip in extensions to create this textured soft look on @shaelee_archibald for our @prestonpeakfunctions #photoshoot If having a style that sits on your neck make sure you have had a trial so you know how it will feel. It is important to get used to a low style and see how it wears if rubbing in your neck.

20.01.2022 What I have learnt during COVID....... I love what I do.....who am I kidding I always knew that! But I really have missed working with brides and other wonderful wedding vendors. ..... I have also learnt to take time out more. You may have noticed I have stepped back a little from social media and this has been for a few reasons. ............ Homeschooling was a big one and juggling the mountain of emails to make sure my brides were at ease during COVID. I then came to realise how I actually didnt miss posting all the time. What I want to do is create meaningful information and content and when I am able to produce more beautiful styles to show case I will be putting better systems in place to share with you whilst having balance! ........ I also didnt want to be posting constantly in all the noise that was so overwhelming during the isolation periods. ........ I have worked on my systems and my business and that is a constant but making sure I book in time for all those behind the scenes of my business so I am spending more time with family. ......... I am so grateful that my business is consistently growing even during COVID but I have come to the realisation that I want to focus on my business and my brides and not grow so big I loose the whole ideal of my business focus and that is customer service. My goal is to further ensure my brides have the best service available. ..... What this means is.... book now to avoid disappointment and dont wait as we do have to say no sometimes. We are currently booking trials a minimum of one month in advance. I am suggesting to brides to book your trial when you book your wedding. ....... I never thought that would happen in my wildest dreams so thank you for everyone believing in me and my business. Thanks you for all your referrals and trusting me and my team. ....... You can imagine what is happening to the wedding industry condensing all 18 months of weddings into 12 months and maintaining our level of service. You never stop learning and growing and all I can say is there have been a lot of lessons and The big reset has been just one big lesson. I am so thankful. See more

18.01.2022 KAITLYN & JAYDEN I distinctly remember Kaitlyn & Jaydens wedding was a fun and free-spirited day celebrating love, life and was filled with lots and lots of ...laughter. Nearly every detail of their vintage inspired wedding was either handmade by the creative duo themselves or by their equally talented family and friends. They fabric dyed their own custom table runners, arbor hangings and the bridesmaids dresses were hand sewn by the mother of the bride herself. My favourite detail was seeing Kaitlyn step into Jaydens surprise room of balloons with personalised love notes and photographs of all their milestones and adventures. As if that wasnt enough, they even gifted us handmade ceramics with our names on it. Thank you for the beautiful memento! Were so grateful we were there to capture every moment of this super fun and magical wedding! 08.01.2022 Short hair can still be put up into an upstyle. On your trial day I discuss ideas you might have for your bridesmaids as well as performing your trial. Whether it is yourself or bridesmaid with short hair we have options of padding and/ or using clip in extensions (and not a full head of extensions either). I can assist with guidance or purchasing of extensions and always have hair padding in my kit! #hairdressertricks

We also did a hidden braid for the veil to secure into. We love what we do and we spend time to educate ourselves on techniques such as these. Its about experience and dedication to our craft!

03.01.2022 This wedding was so beautiful! I attached these stunning head pieces by sewing them into the hair using a small section on the crown to attach to. I then used eyelash glue to hold on the skin at the front!!!! Giving away all the secrets!!!
