06.01.2022 It seems like an aeon since the judging and how wonderful it was to sit down together with Gail Thomas, Antun Spoljaric, Rosa Mitchell, Leonie Mills and Bob Hart to judge the entries It was noted that the quality this year was a step up from an already pretty high standard. Our winners were Tony Poje first prize for prosciutto, Alfredo La Spina 2nd for his salami and third Andrew Gravett for the venison salami. Once again Angel’s philosophy of Lara being the perfect place to make smallgoods rings true as Tony is from Lara and Chris who won it the first 3 years also is at Lara. I will post the tasting notes as soon as possible.
