18.01.2022 With us all spending more time at home, in theory, there should be more time for self-care. But it can get lost in adapting to our new normal, home schooling, job or financial worries and a whole raft of other challenges so many people face right now. While it might be easier said than done, you cant pour from an empty cup. To be of the greatest help to others, you must first help yourself.

13.01.2022 Many people have asked our founder Jacqui why she started The Helping Hub. Jacqui had been through a number of very difficult life changing experiences including her mum being diagnosed with Breast cancer and having to look after her whilst also looking after her 6 month old and 2 year old. At the time, Jacqui had many family members and friends who wanted to help and yet couldn't really do anything to provide the care and support she needed. They couldn't be there because th...ey were busy in their own lives and they were not able to access the services she specifically needed such as help with cooking and washing. This experience led to Jacqui creating the Helping Hub and turning it into the incredilbe hub of exclusive products and services which are available and tailored to help with such situations that people face today! #help #support #therightsupport #helpishere #thehelpinghub

06.01.2022 Have you ever been in the situation where you have wanted to help someone but haven't known what to do? You feel helpless and useless because you care so much about them and yet cannot provide the help and support they need, in a time where they really need it. In 2007, I was that person who needed help. I devastatingly lost my mum to breast cancer and at the time had a 6 month old baby and a 2 year old and was running a business with 20 staff. I needed help. I needed washing... done, cleaning done and other tasks and my relatives were trying their best to help yet could not perform such tasks for me. Driving to the business one morning, I thought wouldn't it be amazing to have one place where everytime one of my friends had said to me "Jac, how can I help you?" they could have gone on there and found something that was useful, meaningful and/or purposeful. This was the beginning of the The Helping Hub which is now an incredible hub of useful, meaningful and purposeful products and services which provide help for those who need it! We can't wait to share our new website with you to show you which is currently being built and will be ready to launch in approximately 2 weeks! #gift #giftideas #illness #separation #divorce #justbecausegifts #grief #griefjourney #griefandloss #griefsupport #helpisontheway #helpishere #thehelpinghub
