25.01.2022 Introducing SA Ambulance Service's new Mercedes-Benz VS30 ambulance. The ambulance has improved safety features and the latest technology, including inbuilt Wi-...Fi to enable paramedics to transmit clinical data directly to hospitals while in transit. A fleet of 46 new state-of-the-art ambulances will soon begin hitting our roads. They will complement a dozen new high-tech 'SPRINT' vehicles which will help reduce response times. We have some of the best clinicians in the world - it makes sense to support them with modern vehicles.
24.01.2022 On Saturday morning I was proud to represent the Premier at the Bomber Command Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Air Force Memorial on the Torrens Parade Ground. This special service commemorates the more than 10,000 Australians who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice as part of Bomber Command. The ceremony also honours surviving South Australian veterans who served in the Command. The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) squadrons began operations with Bomber Command during the Second World War.

09.01.2022 On Thursday we met with Mayor McLauglin who shared the positive news and developments occurring in Whyalla including but not restricted to the new $100m super school, the most unique and stunning recreational foreshore jetty soon to be completed, growth in tourism opportunities including the giant cuttlefish, and the new Aldi supermarket. We also had a casual opportunity to chat with members of both the Whyalla City Council and Whyalla Chamber of Commerce. Friday morning, we ...met with Mr Theuns Victor (Executive MD Transformation) of GFG Liberty Primary Steel and Mr Sean Kelly (Media and Communications Manager) of GFG Alliance. Mr Victor provided an overview of the mining and steelworks operations and the planned extensive transformation of the steelworks to a more cleaner, efficient and higher output business model. We met Mr Victor and Mr Kelly at Hummock Hill that provides an elevated view of the train unloading facility, the pelletising plant, jetty, and the blast furnace, coke ovens and steelworks in the distance. However incredibly and disappointingly that morning provided the thickest fog seen in Whyalla for quite a while and visibility was close to zero. Nevertheless it was a very information conversation.
