25.01.2022 Anyone keen to play along? One of our readers sent me this photo taken at the Gabba (must have been tea break). Would love to see where you are reading your Downunder magazine!
24.01.2022 Well...the day has finally come, and it has been a coming for a while, unfortunately we couldn't hold on any longer. We have published the last ever edition of Downunder. For our beautiful contributors over the years I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and it's so special to know I have made life long friends from my Downunder experience! To our subscribers who we now owe money to, I will be personally phoning you in about a month's time (before the Winter issue was ...due to come out anway) and working out with you what we owe you and how we can re-imburse. We have a store room full of back issues over the last eight years so if you've just started subscribing we can always send you some of our favourite older copies if that is an option, but for those who want their cash back, you will get it. Once again, Sharon and I have loved working on Downunder Magazine and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support. It wasn't the magazine sales that let us down, it was the advertising support, just not enough of it anymore. I have to put my focus into something that will pay me a wage and support my family. 23.01.2022 With the final edition of Downunder now OFF sale, we are keen to hear from anyone who may be interested in back issues. We go back nine years so if you're missing any from your collection give us a call as we are keen to clear our storage shed. 01.01.2022 Well there's good news and there's bad news. The good news is the e-magazine is now live through our website, for those itching to see Summer issue, it's all there uploaded ready for viewing! Just go to www.horsedownunder.com.au. The Bad news is..due to printer breakdown, the hard copy won't be available on the news stands until Friday December 9th (at the very earliest). Subscriber's copies should be right to post out early next week, so sorry guys it's going to be a little later than we anticipated, but well worth the wait, we promise!
