23.01.2022 Thank you to those members who answered the call & came to the rescheduled AGM last night, your attendance was very much appreciated. We have a couple of changes to the Committee - Alison Boyce is taking over from Rodney as treasurer, Gail Woods joins us & Linda Castle has stepped down. Thank you Linda for your work over the past few years & dont worry, youll be roped in again

21.01.2022 Hi folks, AGM for Hound Club of SA inc is wednesday the 30th November in Marsula Brine building at David Roche Park. 7.30 pm. All welcome. Memberships are due now. thankyou to those who have already renewed.

The winner of the beautiful raffle generously donated by Heather Ann Budd was Chris Young. We dont have contact details for her so if anyone knows her, please ask her to contact the club so that we can arrange delivery.

12.01.2022 The President, committee & members of the Hound Club of SA Inc are saddened to hear of the very recent passing of Life Member & one of the Clubs founders, Mrs Margaret Bennett. She did much to enrich the lives of many in the dog world. Our sincere condolences go to her family at this time. Her funeral will be held at 1pm, Wednesday April 12 at Berrys Funeral Home chapel, 204 Macgill Rd, Norwood.

11.01.2022 Hi everyone, the Marsula Brine building will be out of action on the weekend, due to refurbishments. We recommend you bring your own hot water for tea and coffee. There will be a BBQ run by the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club SA. Cheers Fiona

10.01.2022 Hi Everyone, dont forget to contact Heather with your points for the Hound of the Year if you are participating. Rules are as follows. Points may be won at all Championship Shows within Australia commencing on the day following the weekend prior to the Hound Club of SA Inc (Trophy) Championship Show and finishing with the last Championship Show on the weekend prior to the Hound Club of SA Inc (Trophy) Championship Show. Points are awarded as follows: Best in Group 10 points ... Runner-up in Group 7 points Runner- up in Group without challenge 6 points The Hound must be registered in South Australia. The owner of the Hound must be a financial member of the Hound Club of SA Inc Points for this award may only be accumulated during the period when the owner is a financial member of the Club Progress points must be submitted fourteen (14) days prior to the Hound Club of SA Inc Championship Show and final points confirmed five (5) days before the Championship Show

09.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone - A big weekend at David Roche Park is coming up on the 14th & 15th April, 2018. The Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of SA inc champ show entries close on 19th March, The Hound Club entries close on 28th March & the Whippet & Greyhound Club on the 3rd April.

09.01.2022 Due to certain circumstances the club wishes to advise we will be unable to provide catering at our Championship show on March 17th and it is advised exhibitors bring their own lunches. There still will be cold drinks available for purchase on the day.

The show this Saturday will take place in Ring 1 near the Marsula Brine room, with gates set to be opening at 7:30. As always the club BBQ will be running, with sausages, bacon and eggs sandwiches, and cool drinks available. :)

06.01.2022 Not much longer until our October Champ and Open shows get underway, below are the numbers for both. Starting time for both shows is 9am, with the open show running in reverse alphabetical order and gates are set to open at 7:30am We will also have the barbecue running with cool drinks, sausages, and bacon and eggs. Hope to see you there :)
