19.01.2022 Well another winter ocean swim under our belt’s! Water temp 13.6 and it was pretty foggy out there so visibility was very low making sighting a challenge. But we stuck together and made it back for coffee

19.01.2022 "We could simply meet for coffee and just pass on the palava of wriggling into an impossible fit wetsuit." "Why do I do this to myself?" I asked myself again. My heart was palpatating and I was ever so slightly freaking out about the whole thing whilst trying to draw calm breaths and keep a steady stroke in the somewhat bloody freezing water. Then just as suddenly it was over and we were dry once again, clasping a hot mug of coffee, smiling and laughing. Each of us openly, safely, sharing our fears and vulnerabilites about the swim and, perversly already looking forward to the next one.

01.01.2022 WE DID IT! Final swim of winter. Despite the radio telling us to stay in bed due to the cold morning. We got out and enjoyed the stunning sunrise. Water 12.7 coldest yet, and 5 degrees air temp. ... Well done IClCLES! We are now swimming into spring!
