10.01.2022 We were lucky enough to receive a visit from Hayash Riri (Lilly) Lilly has spent time in Ingham and regularly visits the host family she stayed with. Lilly was last here 3 years ago while the roof was being laid. We also found an old decorative tile embedded in a fern at the side of the house.

02.01.2022 Sorry for the long delay friends of the Japanese House Australia. We’ve had a great meeting today to try and plan the next stage of the house’s restoration. Japanese carpenter Masashi and his lovely partner Ami, with the support of Mook Denton and in consultation with Akira Mitsuda will help in planning the next move.
