25.01.2022 Last night was the final session for the 2013 Program - "Let's Be Real" and was followed by the end of year Christmas break up party. Much of the party chat was how people were already looking forward to next years program with the interesting title - "Being Human - The Vital Link & the Tragic Flaw". More on what that might mean will be posted on our web site soon.
20.01.2022 The facilitators had their end of year Break Up party at the Sun Luk Restaurant in East Malvern last Saturday night. Lots of fun was had, especially during the opening of some very creative Kris Kringle presents. Hope you have a wonderful festive season and hope to see you all back in 2014.
12.01.2022 Just completed the 4th and last Kalama Silent Meditation Retreat weekend for 2013. The discourse readings this weekend were from the articulate and inspiring young Tibetan Buddhist - Dzigar Kongtrul. As usual a challenging but most worthwhile weekend. The retreats are held at the Holy Cross monastery in Templestowe. The photo is of a glorious sunrise taken at 5.30am (through a dirty window :) on Sunday morning, overlooking the grounds in a Northerly direction.
11.01.2022 The Kalama Centre for Human Relations course is an integrated program of weekly lectures, mindfulness exercises and small sensitivity groups. The central aim of The Kalama Centre for Human Relations is to provide a safe environment to allow each member to experience, explore and share their own personal assumptions, attitudes and emotional reactions to life and living.
08.01.2022 The Kalama Centre program for term 1, 2014.
