16.01.2022 I have been working on a COMMISSION FREE WEB SITE / PLATFORM for some time now , it is nearly ready to launch just a little bit of tweaking then start getting on artist galleries , dealers wholesalers, notifications , events, exhibitions etc , it has many levels with many more to be added but the frame work is now there and I have to test it before I launch it. I have tried to make it different from other sites which i believe there are many and they are complicated as well. ...The site is made up so someone like me can easily navigate it with out going nuts and to allow for growth and expansion to become a Brand name where people go to find everything art related at all levels. The main aim is to put A with B and cut out the middle person as such, this has been done from scratch and I have been learning as I go along with guidance from Melbourne IT who made the skeleton from my many hand written notes which i took pictures of and sent to them to show them how i wanted it set. Simplicity is the Key and to be effective and easy to navigate. I am still cross linking things within the site as well as Hyperlinks to the artists websites or whatever they wish me to link it to. It is great to have a website as and artist but people have to know how to get to you , this provides you with a simple profile and connections to everything you want, not like other sites that hide the info so that they can get commissions from your sales. hopefully it will be a useful tool for galleries ,dealers etc. Bottom line it is a very low cost MARKET PLACE FOR ALL , once all is up and running I have also a marketing plan which can also make those involved feel as if they are part of it to take it to the world (stay tuned as it is pretty good). Currently I have only got Google translate for the languages which will be changed to properly translated pages as well as re -modifying things that need to be as we go along. Anyways let me introduce you to AAMAC - All Arts Market And Connections Just to get a feel of the site, you can sign up if you wish for mailing list when i start to have info to mail out, your stuff stays up till you wish to remove it or you can just put your sold work up as well, it is yours to exploit marketing wise! http://www.aamac.com.au/home See more

09.01.2022 September 20, 2017 Searching for artists for Urban Screen Studio Residencies Liverpool City Council is looking for artists to take up residence in the heart of the city and produce works for the giant screen in Macquarie Mall. Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said she was thrilled to be able to offer three talented people the opportunity to have their work seen by a wide audience. Were looking for the chosen artists to work with community groups such as the Western Sydney M...igrant Resource Centre, Gandangara Land Council and CuriousWorks to create communityinspired content, Mayor Waller said. Supporting artists at a local level is so important in bringing the community together. Its a wonderful thing when people are able to see themselves represented in local culture and there is such a rich variety of stories to tell here in Liverpool. Chosen artists work will be shown at a special screening event, Macquarie Mall on the screen as part of regular programming. There may even be an opportunity for their work to tour other Urban Screen programs or art institutions. This is a great opportunity for artists to build their skills in digital art forms and its also a great opportunity for local groups and individuals to share their stories in new ways. Council is looking for three artists to take over the space in Shop 10-11 Northumberland Arcade for approximately three months each. Each chosen artist will receive $9000 to deliver their project. The program was funded by Create NSWs Making Spaces program, which aims to create hubs for a diverse mix of arts, screen and digital projects, with Council providing the space and organising viewing events for each artist. Interested artists can apply for the residencies can apply at liverpool.smartygrants.com.au/usrrd1 Applications close Monday 30th October 2017 Media Contact: Frances Sacco, (02) 9821 9148 Website: http://www.liverpool.nsw.gov.au/ Twitter: @Lpool_Council Facebook: Liverpool City Council Australia https://liverpool.smartygrants.com.au/usrrd1 See more
