23.01.2022 Yesterday we resumed our series in the Book of Romans. In the first 11 chapters we took a deep dive into what God has done for us through the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins. Chapter 12 teaches us that our response to God's grace and mercy ought to be an overflow of loving-kindness towards others. All that we have - experiences, abilities, opportunities and resources - has been given to us by God, not to keep for ourselves but for the sake of building one another up. Therefor...e, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to Godthis is your true and proper worship. 21.01.2022 Romans 12 is full of commands but at the heart of them all is love. The love of Christ for us is sincere, generous, wholehearted, sympathetic and peacemaking. As we receive this love from our Saviour we are implored to love others in the same way. "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves." 11.01.2022 The children of God are called to bear with each other and build one another up. In essence this means we're to love others as Christ loves us, so that "with one mind and voice" we may bring praise and glory to God. "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 03.01.2022 Great news! Government restrictions on numbers in churches have eased and we'd love you to join us at one of the services at our Ministry Centre, 6 Pioneer Ave, Tuggerah. Sunday 8.30am, 10.30am & 5pm Our cafe will be open for barista coffees and other refreshments so come along and stay for a cuppa and chat afterwards.
